• Stimuno re-elected as the Most Recommended Brands survey by word of mouth (WOM) 2011 conducted by the Marketing Research and Onbee SWA Magazine. The award presented Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Four Season Hotel, Central Jakarta received by the Group Brand Manager OTCdexa, Adhitia Budhi.

    For the category of Children's Immunity System, Stimuno received the highest ranking from the survey. Earlier, in 2009 Stimuno've won awards at the same time as the Most Recommended Brands category Children's System Immunity granted in April 2009.

    The marketing strategy of mouth or word of mouth marketing (WOMM) is recognized kedahsyatannya. People have more confidence to buy a product because a friend or family who give recommendations.

    As reported by SWA magazine issue 9 to 22 June 2011, through word of mouth marketing can be an effective tool in boosting sales. A number of brands on the market has proven it. Based on the survey conducted, the powerful brands in the market to grow because of the effect of WOM.

    There are 110 categories of products have been surveyed to measure Word of Mouth Index (WOMI) of each category. Preparation of ranking is based on the achievement WOMI. This score is calculated through the formulation of the variable multiplied by the variable WOM Social Networking (SN). From these results will be obtained WOMI.

    The scores of the variables WOM is calculated through the weighted average of the three dimensions, namely Talking (it's discussed how consumer products), Promoting (how consumers are willing to promote the brand) and Selling (how consumers want to sell these products).

    Interestingly, there is the variable SN is increased due to the rise of social media like Facebook and Twitter. This increase is close to 300% compared to last year, which makes social media became one of the effective medium spread WOM.

    This survey of 3,000 respondents conducted during January to March 2011 are spread across seven major cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan and Makassar Denpasar. They are men and women in the age range 15-55 years, with social economic status of A to E.

    Based on these four variables, the survey results indicate Stimuno ranked first and has the highest WOMMI (212.4) compared to other products in the category of Children's Immunity System.
