• Dexa Medica for the fourth time was chosen as the Best Company of Female Labor from South Sumatra Province in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

    This award was given coincided with commemmorations of the Mothers' Day, on December 22, 2009, at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, held before the President of Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, along with a number of ministers within the cabinet, including the Minister for Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Linda Amalia Sari.

    During his speech, the President explained that gender mainstream and equity ought to be taken as a whole issues. There are three perspectives in commemoration of Mother's Day: history value, civilization in put a high respect towards the mothers, and build a better tomorrow.

    Along with the event, Parahita Ekakarya Awards were also given to a number of ministers, governors, regents,  and companies those show a high commitment towards women empowerment program. There are two women minister who received the award: Health Minister and Finance Minister of Indonesia Bersatu II cabinet.

    By 2009, it is the fourth consecutive years for Dexa Medica in receiving this award (the Best Company on Women Labor Empowerment) after received the same award in 2006, 2007, and 2008.

    Dexa Medica was given this award for its commitment to provide an equal opportunity to its employee for occupying strategic position within the company.
